Bike Path to Boulevard Trail
A nice easy ride through town along the bike path. After cruising to the far east end, you’ll turn around and head back towards the Safeway. You will have to cross the street at Convent and Animas. At Convent, you’ll proceed through Cimino Park. At Animas, continue past the steam engine at the Safeway flags, then follow the path under the highway.
Here’s where things get nice, with a lovely wooded gravel trail. You don’t need to follow the GPS track below — there are a few forks to explore. At the far end, there’s a parking lot. Look out for deer and other critters, or take a break by the Purgetoire river.
